A Wish: –

There is a person alive today that is in their 97th year, turning 97 later in 2025. My wish would be for that person to volunteer a statement about their role in Australia during the Somerton Man years and in the 1960’s and their link to Jimmy.
As their career covered many “Government directed tasks”, and they would likely be covered under the “Official Secrets Act”, it would be unrealistic to expect a full lifetime itinerary.

However, given this person is nearing the sunset of their life it would be significant if they could obtain clearance to explain the Australian activities. While they have this control in their hands, they would be able to make sure it in no way compromised their position and the chain of command. They could tell their story exactly as it happened as opposed to the story being told differently after their passing. A time when facts are no longer in their control and with the chance that the story might change to their detriment.

All I can do is cross my fingers and hope, as I know a lowly civilian cannot make a direct approach to you, except perhaps via a post in this format.

This gentleman once attributed his success to “Hard work and dedication,” but he has been quoted as saying that “God has been good to me. Sometimes I think that I am HIS favourite.”

Born into quiet residential life in a small village where his father and mother ran a Rumshop and Grocery, he spent many hours at the church as a Roman Catholic Acolyte.

The early stages of his professional life began as an Office Boy and Clerk where his responsibilities involved dispatching Ice Vans.

This person soon felt the need to progress his professional development and luckily became an employee of a world-wide company as an Accountant.

Ambition drove his advancement through to the point where he became the owner and CEO of this Global Organisation.

During the crucial years where the peace of the world was at risk he was also employed in the covert world of information gathering and tasks that may have gone below visible or observable channels.

He has been recognised by The Order of St John as a Knight of the order, Queen Elizabeth II, Rotary International, The Roman Catholic Church and Pope John Paul II personally, Lions International and the Scouting movement, and a multitude of other organisations.

His career also included significant involvement in Diplomatic Agencies in several countries.

But all this was carried out successfully while still remaining a family man. He had a wife of almost 70 years and has 5 children.

Sir, please find a pathway (probably through legal and professional advisers) to provide the information required to identify the “Somerton Man” and the details surrounding his/their demise and the associated activities of the Adelaide visits and overseas actions.

Can you help explain what the significance of Jimmy McIntyre holding the ID Card was, and why his son “Max” used the card as leverage when questioned about his involvement in “the missing Beaumont children” saga?
